Security and access
Access is scoped to what the workflow needs, using Xero’s official API and OAuth — I do not store your Xero credentials.
Human approval
Consequential financial decisions require human approval. Invoice preparation can be automated, with validation and an audit trail; approval before posting is agreed explicitly in the workflow scope.

Businesses running Xero alongside a job management, CRM or custom operations system where data currently has to be entered twice.
What we verify before building
- The Xero organisation, account access and source of the approved job or quote.
- Contact mapping, line items, tax treatment and who approves an invoice.
- Examples of repeated job updates, credit adjustments and incomplete invoice data.
Xero Accounting API: invoices is the platform's reference for the access or operations described.
An example scope
A possible first scope is an approved job feeding a draft invoice for review. We verify the required API operations, map source records to contacts and invoice fields, and decide how to avoid duplicates when the same job is processed again. Your accountant or authorised team member confirms accounting treatment.
Does this include automatic payment or reconciliation?
No payment authority is implied by an invoice workflow. Reconciliation support, invoice approval and payment actions are separate scope decisions, subject to supported API access and the approvals your business requires.
Agree the build and support
Acceptance covers the agreed records, validation, duplicate handling, failure visibility and human approvals. Ongoing support and any third-party account costs are scoped explicitly.
