What we verify before building
- The tenant, mailboxes, SharePoint sites and workbooks involved in the workflow.
- The tenant administrator or account owner who can approve the required access.
- The intended read or write operations, document permissions and review owner.
Microsoft Graph: selected permissions is the platform's reference for the access or operations described.
An example scope
A possible first scope takes an approved source document into a structured operational record. We verify the Microsoft Graph operations and permissions for the specific resources, rather than assuming tenant-wide access is required. Mail, files and workbook operations are checked individually before the scope is agreed.
Can the workflow be limited to selected SharePoint resources?
Microsoft Graph supports selected permissions for relevant SharePoint and OneDrive resources. Whether that fits your workflow depends on the operations and consent model. We assess the access boundary with your administrator before implementation.
